Richard L. Gregory, Ph.D. at Indiana University's Schools of Dentistry and Medicine, aimed to determine if DentaTabs exhibited inhibitory effects against four oral bacteria: Streptococcus mutans, Actinomyces viscosus, Porphyromonas gingivalis, and Porphyromonas asaccarolyticus. The results showed that undiluted DentaTabs inhibited the growth of three bacteria at 24 hours and all four bacteria at 48 hours.
