Sprinkles: Analysis of Antimicrobial Activity

Our study aimed to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of four commercially-available products (Plaque Free, Plaque-Off, Perio Support, and Tartar Shield Beef Sprinkles) against Streptococcus mutans. The results showed that only Tartar Shield Beef Sprinkles significantly inhibited the growth of S. mutans, indicating its potential in preventing plaque formation caused by this bacterium.
